I started practicing yoga about 10 years ago.  I knew right then and there that someday I wanted to become a yoga instructor and share my practice with others.  Yoga is my calm in a stressful world.  It helps me to reduce tension all the while gaining muscle strength, endurance and flexibility.

I have been a teacher at Riverview school for the past 30 years.  I have two grown children and two wonderful golden retrievers.  When I am not working out at Fly Girl or teaching I like to go hiking, kayaking and my new passion is paddle boarding.

Kelly

Hi everyone! I'm Kelly, and I'm thrilled to be joining the Fly Girl Dance & Fitness team as a PILOXING instructor. My classes will be every Thursday at 5:15 PM, starting August 1st, and I can't wait to meet you all!

My journey into group fitness began back in 2003, after the birth of my third child. I fell in love with the vibrant, supportive community and the empowering feeling that fitness brings. This passion led me to become certified in group fitness, as well as in Body Pump, Piloxing, and POUND. For 13 amazing years, I had the joy of teaching and connecting with so many wonderful people.

Life threw me a few curveballs when menopause and osteoarthritis took their toll on me, both physically and emotionally. I needed a break and took a three-year hiatus from teaching and fitness. Now, I am back and more determined than ever to overcome these challenges and help others do the same. I'm here to kick those menopausal miseries to the curb!

I absolutely adore the positive energy that members bring to class. My goal is to encourage and inspire women to move with power and purpose, regardless of age or obstacles. Fitness is for everyone, and I believe we can all achieve great things together.

When I'm not at the studio, I serve as the Director of Operations for a company that manufactures orthopedic surgical instruments. I'm also a proud mom of three grown children and soon-to-be grandma! In my free time, I enjoy gardening, exploring flea markets, kayaking, and cooking.

Let's make every class a celebration of strength, resilience, and community. See you on the dance floor!
